Boot Camp (and other) Updates

Guys, it’s April and guess what? I’m still going to the gym 3-4 times a week. At 5:30. Without bribery of donuts afterwards. Waaaaat. I think, if nothing else, that is a testament to how great these classes really are.

Also, I’ve finally lost some weight! Just a couple pounds and I think most of it was because I was sick for two weeks but still. I stand by what I’ve said before – if I never lose another pound I’m still so happy because I’ve gained muscle. Check this out:

Please ignore the less than excellent form, my decision to dress like a leprechaun, and the man in the background. This is me doing something I physically could not do in January. Not even a little bit. Because after carrying a baby and birthing him and caring for him for a year and never doing any real exercise… Let’s just say I’m surprised I could sit upright most of the time. But now I can do them and more! I can almost do a push up but more on that when I can.

Also, I am writing this post while eating this, sitting in Panera so I don’t go home and wake Judah up too early:

It is oatmeal topped with quinoa, almonds, honey and cinnamon. It’s actually pretty tasty and it’s something I never would’ve considered ordering from Panera (because bagels). I’ve found though that if I can make one good decision, I tend to make another one. Like getting out of bed to workout when I’d rather sleep. I still have to exercise a lot of discipline in my eating habits though.

Who doesn’t love a cute baby? This was from a recent trip to Starbucks one lunch time. I love that we can see Josh nearly every day. And Judah is getting so many new words (ball, help, bubble, please, more etc). It’s so cool to see him figuring things out – he recognizes Josh’s car when we’re waiting for him outside at the end of the day. Sometimes I can’t imagine how people have more than one kid because I love this one so much.
Anyway, enough babbling, besides it’s about time for that baby to wake up 🙂

Peace
