Total Weight Gain: So apparently I was slightly off with the last post. At my last doctor’s visit I was only up a total of 14 lbs but I’m pretty sure I’ve made up the difference now!
Movement: So in addition to the kicks and wiggles I’ve been feeling, Judah spent most of yesterday with his butt or his head (I’m not sure which) shoved hard into the right side of my abdomen. And since he’s getting bigger, Josh could even look at my belly and see the lump! It was rather uncomfortable though, kinda like having someone lean on you with their elbow but from the inside. He finally shifted during small group and I felt so relieved!
Biggest Craving This Week: Nothing really sticks out this week – I’ve been eating fairly normally (normal for preggo Jess which means tons of sweets!)
How clothes of fit: Things haven’t changed much on this front other than everything keeps getting smaller! My mom had got me some new denim shorts from Old Navy this week, unfortunately they were too small. Old Navy denim is always cut narrow for me but when I went to exchange the shorts, they didn’t have ANY shorts in a larger size. Talk about discouraging, especially when I’m already feeling self-conscious about my ever changing size.
Energy Level: I’m still having trouble sleeping but I think I’ve managed to find a system using every pillow we own to support my back and hips. Poor Josh is slowly losing more and more space on the bed…
Rants/Random: Josh and I had a great time celebrating Rhea and Dan’s wedding this past weekend – especially the pancakes and bacon for supper! 🙂 I’ve also got the nursery painted and my parents finished the dresser for us and brought it by this week. I’ll upload pictures when it’s closer to complete (we still have zip ties for drawer handles on the dresser!)
Looking forward to: Third trimester starting next week! It seems crazy how fast time has gone by and that Judah will be here in just a few months. Some days I panic at how much life will change with a baby and other days I think about how much I can’t wait to hold my little boy!
